Claims Procedure

1. Collect and duly fill and complete all necessary forms and documents.

2. Submission of claims to be done at correct Reliance General Insurance Regional Office.

3. Your claim must be lodged within 7 days from either date of loss or completion of repair.

Checklist of Documents:

A. Accident Damages Claims:

• Copies of policy cover note / policy document, Driver’s License, Tax Receipt & registration book.

• In case of physical injury / death / property damage copy of police FIR
• Quotation or estimate from where vehicle is repaired
• Bills and proof of payments for repairs completed.

B. Claims for Theft:

• Copies of policy cover note / policy document, acknowledgement letter to RTO informing them of theft & non-usage of vehicle, Police FIR report, tax payment receipt
• Proof of prior insurance details - Insuring Company, duration of insurance, policy no.
• Original Registration along with endorsement from RTO of the theft
• Warranty, service records booklets and all keys.

C. Additional Documents:

In case of liability the following additional documents are required:

• Forms 28, 29 & 30 duly signed by Insured
• Form 35 duly signed by Financer
• Copies of Subrogation letter & NOC from Financer if settlement is in favour of the Insured & agreement between Financer and Insured for settlement of claim value

Reimbursement for all above scenarios would be done by signing the Claim Discharge Cum Satisfaction Voucher (see format attached).
