Her designed clothes are often wore by Indian pageants in contests like Miss World, Miss Universe and Miss Asia pacific. Late Princess Diana and Jemima Khan has also wore her designed clothes.

She did her Bachelor of Science in Home Economics from Lady Irwin College, New Delhi in 1964 and then later did got degree of Associate in Arts in 1966 from Briarcliff College, Westchester County, NY, USA.

Personal Life of Ritu Kumar

Despite spending lot of time in USA, she still has Indian citizenship. She is married and has two children.
