SKR Engineering College

The SKR Engineering College is situated on the Bangalore Highway about 20 km from the Chennai airport in Chennai. It was established in the year 2001 and is managed by the Srinivasa Educational Trust. It is affiliated to Anna University and is approved by AICTE. It is an ISO 9001:2001 certified by TUV Germany.

Courses Offered at SKR Engineering College

The College offers a four years Bachelors of Engineering (B.E) course in different streams which include Computer Science & Engineering; Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. The college offers B.Tech Degree in Information Technology. There are also MCA and MBA degree courses.

Admission Procedure of SKR Engineering College

For all the courses the eligibility is as prescribed by the Government of Tamil Nadu. The admission to the college is made through the Common Entrance Test and also through the AIEEE For admission to the master’s degree one has to pass the appropriate Degree examination of the University or any other University. For diploma holders the admission to 2nd year is done under the Lateral Entry Scheme. The candidate has to pass the Diploma Examination of the State.

Infrastructure at SKR Engineering College

The College is spread over a wide and sprawling campus. It is 20 km from the railway station and from the airport. It has got well planned blocks of various departments. It has separate block and separate building for indoor sports and recreational activities. It has a central library with about 25000 volumes of books of all departments.

Placement at SKR Engineering College

The placement and campus cell is well equipped to provide campus interviews and facilitate various campus recruitment processes. IIIC is in constant touch with the placement cell to provide industrial training.
