Satvahana Express runs between Vijaywada and Secunderabad.

Satvahana Express No. 2713 runs from Vijaywada to Secunderabad. This is a daily train that covers not just these two stations but many more stations in between. This train leaves at 6.10 AM and reaches at 11.45 AM on the same day. Since the journey does not take more than 5 hours and 35 minutes and is covered during the day itself, the train consists of AC Chair Car and 2nd Sitting seatsonly. The train covers a total distance of 351 kms.

In all, the train stops at 6 stations. This is apart from the stop at the final destination. The stops include Madhira, Khammam, Dornakal, Mahbubabad, Warangal and Kazipet. Fare for AC Chair Car is Rs. 380 and for 2nd Sitting is Rs. 108. This is a Super Fast train that has Tatkal facility available for those traveling at short notice. Of course, passengers will have to pay more for a ticket in the Tatkal quota.

Satvahana Express No. 2714 runs from Secunderabad to Vijaywada on daily basis. The train leaves at 4.15 PM and reaches at 9.50 PM on the same day. This train covers 351 kms with 6 stops. The train runs non stop till Kazipet- a distance of 132 kms and then there is one stop every 40- 60 kms.
