TJ Institute of Technology

TJ Institute of Technology (Sri Taralabalu Jagadguru Institute of Technology) is founded by the religious organization called Sri Taralabalu Jagadguru Brihanmath, famous for its yeoman service in the arena of rural education. Under the aegis of this institute are running above 172 institutions right from nursery to the Engineering and technological College throughout the State of Karnataka.

Set up in 1980, TJ Institute of Technology has received affiliation from Visveswaraiah Technological University, and recognition from All India Council for Technical Education.

Library

The library at TJ Institute of Technology has a wealthy collection of books, journals and periodicals.

Hostel

The college campus shelters both the Boys’ and Girls’ hostels. The boys’ hostel has 144 rooms with the capacity to offer accommodation to 400 students. The girls’ hostel has 70 rooms. It has the ability to accommodate about 200 students.

Other Facilities

Other facilities at TJ Institute of Technology include telephone facilities, recreation room, departmental stores, canteen facilities, bank, health clinic, meditation hall, browsing center, post office, movie club and reading room.

Sports

The college has organized inter-collegiate Visveswaraya Technological University Zonal level Chess and volleyball competition.

Fee Structure:

The fee structure of the college has been fixed as apprized by the Government of Karnataka.

Training and Placement at TJ Institute of Technology

TJ Institute of Technology is proud of its extremely active Training and Placement cell. The cell conducts a variety of programs with the aim to develop Communicational Skills and technical skills. It also arranges aptitude tests for the final year students. Major multi-national companies that come to this college for recruitment are HCL Technologies, Sycone, Caritor, Mfar Construction Ltd., Grasim Industries, Krystal Groups, Shankarnarayan Constructions, Reliance Industries, Hexaware, Satyam Computers, Purvankara Projects Ltd. and DSL.
