Here the insured can make a purchase of this policy even he or she is having another medical insurance policy that is still within the term. Moreover the insured can also renew the policy without having to undergo through any other medical examination up to the age of sixty-four.

• In this very policy, the insured is eligible to get hospitalization benefit on daily basis under which the insured would receive Rs. 2,500 in each day.
• Surgical Benefit is also available in which Rs. 1, 25,000 is paid as a lump sum amount mainly for surgical procedures. The amount is paid even if the cost of surgery is less then the amount specified in the policy document.
• Post-hospitalization Benefit is also available under this policy under which the insured would be getting Rs. 12, 50, 000/- for its first diagnosis case as specified under the schedule of twelve serious illnesses.
• The insured is also eligible to get death benefit in which the insured would be getting death cover of Rs. 10,000/- is also provided to safeguard the family. But this benefit is availed only if the insured hasn’t claimed any other benefit.

Apart from this the insured is also eligible to have tax benefit under this policy. The premium that has been paid to keep the policy in force is eligible for tax deductions under section 80D. The premium that is paid for life insurance benefit is eligible for tax benefits under section 80C of the Income Tax Act, 1961.
