Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology (TIET) Patiala is one of the top engineering colleges of India. The institute was established in 1956. In 1985, Thapar Engineering College was granted the status of Deemed University by the University Grants Commission.

Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology Admission Procedure:

Admission to the undergraduate programs is based on the rank obtained in the All India Engineering Entrance Examination [AIEEE] conducted by the Central Board Of Secondary Education (C B S E ) New Delhi.

Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology Eligiblity:

• The minimum academic qualification for admission through AIEEE is a pass in the final examination of 10+2 (Class XII) or its equivalent referred to as the qualifying examination with 60% marks.
