  • Click on Transfer Funds
  • Click on My Accounts
  • Click on Begin Payment
  • Click the specific account number from where you wish to transfer
  • Enter the amount
  • Click on Next
  • Enter the NetSecure Code received through SMS to process the transfer

2) Transfer funds to a beneficiary holding an Axis bank account

How to transfer money online to other accounts within Axis bank using net banking?

  • Login to Internet Banking using your online banking login details and password
  • Click on Payments

  • Login to Internet Banking
  • Click on Transfer Funds
  • Enter the Payee Name & Nickname
  • Select Other Bank Accounts from the drop down under ‘Register Payee For’
  • Enter the account number and Re-confirm
  • Select ‘IFSC’ option to enter IFSC code or Branch option
  • Select the Bank, State & Branch and Click Proceed 
  • Select the checkbox ‘I have read the Disclaimer and Accept all the Terms and Conditions’
  • Check the details and Click Submit
  • Enter the NetSecure code received through SMS          

4) Transfer funds to an account in another bank outside India

  • Login to Axis Bank Internet Banking
  • Click on Forex
  • Click on Outward Remittance
  • Select Payee
  • Click on Begin Payment
  • Enter the relevant details
  • Check the exchange rate
  • Accept the Declaration and Terms and Conditions of the transaction
  • Enter Net Secure Code received through SMS to process the transfer
  • Click on Confirm

How to add a new payee online having account in another bank outside India?

  • Login to Internet Banking
  • Click on Forex
  • Click on Outward Remittance
  • Click on Add New Payee
  • Enter the Payee's personal details
  • Enter the SWIFT code and Click on Get Details
  • Branch name will reflect
  • Select the Branch from the drop-down list and Click Next
  • Click on Confirm if the details entered are correct
  • Enter the NetSecure code received by SMS

Frequently asked questions related to the funds transfer from Axis Bank:

1) I want to enhance my fund transfer limit ?

If you want to enhance your daily fund transfer limit, please follow the below steps:

  1.  Log into Internet Banking and Click on Services
  2.  Select Limit Enhancement
  3.  Set New Limit
  4.  Enter NetSecure Code and Click Submit

2) I did a fund transfer, but my account was not debited. What could be the reason? 

 This could be as the transaction would not have been successful or the transaction is in process. Please check the status of the fund transfer under ‘Transaction Status’ enquiry tab. In case the status  shows as ‘failed’, you can initiate a new transaction. In case the status shows as ‘in process/successful’, we request you to wait for one working day. 

3) I did a fund transfer to a wrong beneficiary, what do I do now?

In case a wrong beneficiary has been selected, please contact the beneficiary who has received the credit for the refund of this amount. You could also visit your Home Branch for assistance

4) I am unable to add beneficiary and transfer funds, what could be the issue?

If you are unable to transfer money to a beneficiary or add a beneficiary, it could be due to any of the below reasons:

  1. You cannot add more than 3 beneficiaries in a period of 8 hours. Fund Transfer can be made to a new beneficiary only after 8 hours from activation.
  2. You must have already added 3 beneficiaries, you need to wait for 8 hours before you can add any further beneficiaries.
  3. You could have registered the beneficiary, less than 8 hours ago, you need to wait for the 8-hour cooling period, before you can transfer funds to this beneficiary. This is done to protect your account against potential fraud.
