Travel Guard Policy of Tata AIG General Insurance offers a plan that can make holidays what they are meant to be- fun. While on a trip a sudden injury or illness is a curse as it means more expenses. This can be controlled by adopting this plan. It is available for business or leisure trips so that the client does not worry about more than his work or fun.
This policy covers all medical expenses of the client while on a holiday in case of an accident or sudden illness. It does not compensate for illnesses acquired prior to the adoption of the policy. It compensates for lost baggage or delay in checking and loss of passport. It reimburses the client in case of unfortunate delays of flights or trains which prolong the trip. It provides dental treatment expenses in case of an emergency while on holiday.
The Travel Guard Policy of Tata AIG General Insurance assists the client in every way possible as it can be referred to for reservations, location advice, passport or visa needs, embassy information, etc. It provides emergency evacuation when needed and gives any other information the client may ask for.
The policy can be adopted for anyone between 6 months to 2 years of age without any extra efforts. There is an automatic extension policy which gives the client ample time to renew his plan.
The Travel Guard plan does not cover medical expenses of clients, who travel against the advice of the doctor, those with illnesses from before the adoption of the plan, suicides or their attempts or injuries from illegal acts or dangerous sports.
