Tulsi Tanti (born at Rajkot, Gujarat, India) is the Chairman and Managing Director of Suzlon Energy, a $10 billion wind power based company. He and his three children own 70% of the company. Hailing from Gujarat, he was involved in textiles before moving into wind energy. His net worth is estimated to be $8.3 billion as on 2007 and ranks among top 10 richest men of India. He is based at Pune in Maharashtra.

The company is building one of the largest wind parks in the world with a capacity of 1,000 MW. The company acquired Hansen Transmissions, a Belgian company manufacturing wind-turbine gearboxes. He invested $60m in a factory in Tianjin, China and is establishing a rotor-blade factory in Minnesota. The company has an annual revenue of $850 million.
