WBJEE

West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) is conducted by West Bengal Board of Examination for admission to Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, Computers and IT, Instrumentation, production available across 54 engineering colleges within the state of West Bengal.

Eligibility

  • The applicant must be a citizen of India
  • Std XII Science stream (Appearing/Passed)from any University.
  • Candidates must have to secure at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biological Sciences taken together (40% for SC/ST candidates) and at least 30% marks in English (for all categories).
  • Applicant shall be between 17 years and 24 years of age on 31st December 2008.
  • candidate must be resident of West Bengal for a period of not less than 10 (ten) years uninterruptedly or heir parents must be permanent resident of West Bengal having their permanent home address in West Bengal.

The Application form will be available at the branches of UNITED BANK OF INDIA. Candidates can also download the application form from the website:www.csc-et.org

Exam Schedule

WBJEE consist 200 marks in each paper (100 questions each carrying 2 marks). The duration is 2hours. Candidates 2 marks will be deducted for each 3 wrong questions.

Admission Procedure

The admission will be given to candidate as per the candidate cut off score and the candidates eligibility.

Dates

The entrance exam are conducted in the month of May.
