Airtel provides 3 ways to its users to access Postpaid Customer Care

1. 24 hour access number - From any part of India, as an Airtel customer you have the convenience to access their 24-hr customer service number, from your Airtel phone either from mobile or landlines. You can find the Customer care number by putting your city here

2. Payment Assistance centres - Airtel also has many dropboxes and assistance centres in all the cities of India, though they are only meant to drop cheques and for bill payment and complaints, they can also be used for inquiring about various airtel services.

3. Airtel Relationship Centre - These type of centers provide easy facility to take a new connection or to subscribe to any of our value added services and get more information on them. These centers can also be used to pay your bill or get a new handset.

An example of the above services in the Delhi region are as follows

1. 24 hour access number :-
a. Call 24 hour help desk no 9810012345.
b. You can send an SMS to short code 121.
c. You can email your questions, comments or suggestions at 121@airtelindia.com. You will have to mention your mobile no. like 9810012345 in the subject of the mail without any space or any special characters between the digits for a quick response.

They told me that they would activate the sim with in 2hrs. But still the sim is not activated. I made calls several tmes but no response from airtel office. I want to pay my post paid bill in Hyderabad city. But, to my surprise now-a-days I am finding prime customer care centres in city are closed. For example, Hyderguda, Kavadiguda etc. I know that there are two centres at Begumpet and Paradise. Since these are very far of places from my work place and my residence, I am finding it difficult to pay my bill in time. I got one fixed land line connection of Airtel for which I could pay the bill through e-seva. But, for my mobile, they are unable to collect the bill. I have taken this mobile connection 3 months back and I have already paid few bills. Still, the e-seva is not getting the details of my account to collect the bill. If the e-seva is provided my account details, I shall be very thankful. Otherwise, till that time, can you please provide me the any addresses of 'Airtel Customer Care Centres' nearer to Tarnaka, ECIL, Malkajgiri to enable me to pay my bill. A reply can be sent through SMS or to my e-mail ID.

Just i want to activate intenational roaming on my mobile .
first i tryed calling 121 there is no laguage option given to me the recorded voice keepn on going in bangla .
After that i called other 10 digit number there no option available other than Mobile number portability . But a person answered the call and asked me to contact 9804012345 . That numevr all the option were available and finally i was asked to slect a numeber to talk to customer care executive the moment is getting connected to executive the recored voice again appear saying that the connection is not available to me .

IDiotic and noncence . donot go for airtel

my name is akshay and i am currently a bsnl user in jammu. i applied for the mnp from bsnl to airtel more than 3 months ago. but never heard anything from airtel again. i got the upc code from bsnl, filled up the airtel postpaid form and also gave the required security deposit. i was got an airtel postpaid sim and was told that it will be activated within 15days. i waited and waited and waited but nobody contacted me.
luckily yesterday i spotted the guy who took my application form and asked him abot the connection.. he enquired about it and told me that my satus is av- which means my verification was not completed coz i was not present at my home when the verification guys came..
i m very shoked to see the casual and careless approach of the concerned staff towards their customers. nobody even bothered to inform me anything about it and not even tried to return the money they took from me.. the guy told me to get a new upc code and apply for it again.. which really pissed me of alot...
i will be really greatful to u if u look into my matter and take action against the concerned staff..
although after such a bad first experience with airtel, i still wat to port my number to airtel..

Greetings of the day !!


This is in regards to an amount of 4098.60 which has been charged to me as GPRS
usage amount ,I have following reservations on this which are listed as
follows:-


• Airtel connectivity activated on the phone in the month of August
2010,all bills realised till date and amount of approx 50,000 has been paid by
me as telephone charges which stands correct.

• In the month of April I procured an I Phone on which also I got
connected to my mails and used it extensively as always but for a shock that
the amount charged this time was 4098 INR

• I lodged a complaint on 29th May 11 with Mr Girish request number
37673834 ,and as informed waited for a revert from Airtel till 31st May 11.

• On 31st May on not receiving any call spoke to Salim Basha who
informed that the revert would come in by today evening (31st May 11)

• On 2nd June not hearing from anyone from Customer care I called again
and spoke to Ms Deepa who read the resolution to me and informed that the back
end team has informed us to take the money from the customer as he has used the
service ,which I am also not denying but on what basis was I charged when I
even did not ask for GPRS to be Activated on my I ¿PHONE .

• Ok after that was informed to speak to nodal officer again a negative
reply backend has informed us ; than what is the point of escalating the call.

• Later called Mr Subbaramaniam appellate officer who kept mentioning
but Sir you have used the services and I kept informing him yes I used the
services but without knowing the charges and not getting any intimation and
even without asking for the services to be initiated on my phone.


Could someone with authority please look into this issue in complete detailing
and revert at the earliest to the undersigned.

i am not satisfied with the solution of my complaint ,airtel cheats with their customers and then generate their bill accod. , airtel has so much reputation in market but airtel still do these kind of cheaps thing with their old customers ......i dnt noe where to complaint and what to do ,airtel just broken his trust from me ,now i will not suggest any of my known person to move in airtel ,and after solving my issue i will also port out from airtel......
