What will be the age of the candidates applying for the post of Sub Inspectors?

• The General candidates must be 20 – 25 years of age.
• The SC, ST candidates get 5 years of relaxation in age.

Offline application

The Police department often gives the application format in all leading newspapers. They can Xerox or types the format in A4 size paper. This must be copied or typed exactly from the application format.

• The candidates will fix a passport size photograph
• The candidates must put all the documents and the application form in the envelop and post to the respected address.

How to apply through online?

• The candidates who are apply through online have to click the Recruitment tab. Suppose if the candidates are applying for the Delhi Police then they have to log on [http://delhipolicerecruitment.nic.in
• The candidates have to give all details of their qualification and at the end of the application they will click the Save button and they will get a Registration number.
• The candidates must take the print out of the online application form and post to the respective postal address of the state.

• Complete postal address of the candidates
• A fresh and recent photo
• Signature

• Religion
• Academic qualification
• Date of Birth

Selection procedure

The candidates have to qualify in 3 distinct areas.

• They have to appear for the physical test.
• They have to sit for a written examination
• The candidates have to face the interview board to get the job
