To Apply for a Credit cards in India, Contact Any of the Banks in India (Most of them offer Credit Cards) and ask for more details.
Most of the Banks ask for these 4 things as a Proof
- Passport/Pan Card/Driving License/Voter ID Card (You must have one of them as Identity Proof)
- Telephone Bill/Electricity Bill/Ration Card (or something similar which can be taken as Address Proof)
- Income Proof (Last Income Tax Return or Last 2 months Pay Slips). If you are have no income(i.e. you are not a salaried or business person), than you can look for Fixed Deposit Plans where you have to open a fixed deposit account.
- Photograph You will need to give 2 photographs of yourself that will be attached onto the credit card application form. If you wish to apply for an additional credit for a member of your family then photograph of that person will also be needed.
For Salaried Person (salary slip+ form 16) and for self employed 2 years IT returns + PAN card is mandatory now.
Most of the Banks Also ask for your Past 6 months Bank Statement(it can vary) to check your financial history too.
