Kurukshetra Institute of Technology & Management was established by the Shanti Devi Educational Trust (SDET) with a vision to develop a superior institute responsible for grooming future leaders for the country and to impart technical education for the betterment of the society. The campus is located in Bhor Saidan, Pehowa road, Kurukshetra, 9km from Kurukshetra University and is well connected by road and rail.
The college is recognized by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) the chief regulatory body of technical education in India, and is affiliated to the Kurukshetra University.
Infrastructure at Kurukshetra Institute of Technology & Management
The institute is spread over a sprawling campus of 20 acres with greenery all over; the environment provides a perfect place for studies and the complete development of the individual. The institute is composed of Block-A and Block-B with a third block Block-C under construction. Block-A contains the Humanities & Applied Sciences Department the Electronics & Communication Department , the Conference Hall, the Library, and Administrative offices including chairman’s office and Director’s office. The Block – B consists of the Department of Master of Business Administration, Department of Mechanical engineering, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Department of Information Technology, and the Auditorium. Along with the blocks the other building includes Hostels, a Workshop, a Cafeteria, Director’s Residence, and the Faculty Residences.
