Lucknow Airport or Amausi Airport or Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport is located in the city of Lucknow in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Airport Authority of India manages this airport and its airport code is LKO. The government of India renamed this airport as Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport on 17 July 2008 after Chaudhary Charan Singh, who was the 7th Prime Minister of India, a leading freedom fighter and the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh.
