The Middle Button Island National Park is situated in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands of India. The nearest town to the park is Long Island, which is about 60 kilometers way. Long Island is south of the capital of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Port Blair.
The National Park is noted for its fauna. Blue Whale, dolphins, sea turtles, pristine coral life for snorkellers can all be found in the Middle Button Island National Park. The best time to visit the park would be between January and March when the weather is at its best. After March there is the introduction of rough winds that herald in the arrival of the Indian Monsoon. The temperatures in these areas vary from a high of 30 degrees Centigrade in summer to around 15 degrees centigrade in winter. There is not much of fluctuations of temperatures during the day.
In the Middle Button Island Park there are no accommodation facilities. Hence it is advisable to set up base in the closest town of Long Island. Visitors are allowed to camp in their own tents and enjoy the serenity of the place.
