Rohan Bopanna an Indian tennis player was born on 4 March 1980 in Bangalore INdia. At the age of 11 he started playing Tennis. Bhopanna have represented India in the Davis Cup for several times. In 2006, he reached his career high singles ranking(230th position). At the Chennai Open, he paired with Prakash Amritraj and reached his first ATP doubles finals. IN 2007, he reached the 107th spot in the ATP doubles rankings.

IN the year 2007, Bhopanna teammed up with Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi of Pakistan. They won the challenger Title for 4 times in a row.They also paired in the Kingfisher Airlines Open which was held in Mumbai and reached the finals. IN 2008, they participated in the Australian Open Doubles but lost to the first seeds. With such a great performance they doubles rankings moved up to 66th position. And in 2008 he moved up to 43rd number in the doubles ranking and also became his highest career ranking.
