SSC or Staff Selection Commission recruits many young people from all over India every year. Many qualified young people are getting government jobs through the Staff Selection Commission. The commission often gives advertisement of the all India government jobs in major newspapers of India.

The commission has enlisted different age limit of various category of the candidates. The upper age limits of the SC, ST, OBC, EX-Servicemen, candidates domiciled in Kashmir enlisted in the website. The women candidates also get the facility of the upper age limit.
The candidates have to pay Rs100/. However, there are some exceptions like the women do not have to any fees. The SC, ST, PH, Ex-Servicemen do not have to pay any fees for the application forms.
Who can apply?
The vacancy is open to all Indian citizens, or a subject of Nepal, Bhutan, or who have migrated from the countries like countries like Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania before 1st January 1962.
The candidates must have essential qualification to get through the tests. The General, SC, ST and other minor community members must see the qualification criteria or profile before applying.
Selection of the candidates
The eligible candidates selected based on the written test. The candidates have to prepare themselves for different subjects. They must have knowledge in the General Awareness, Quantitative aptitude, Test on Reasoning and Intelligence.
The candidates who have qualified in the written test will be called for the interview. The interview or personality test consists of 100 marks.
The SC and ST candidates will get TA for the Interview or personality test.
